The 5th International Conference on Telecommunications, Optics and Computer Science (TOCS2024) has been successfully held during December 27-29, 2024. This conference is Organized by International Association of Applied Science and Technology (IAAST), International Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA), Guangdong Society of Automotive Engineering, and supported by Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, Guangdong Promotion Association for Intelligent Connected Vehicle E/E Industry, We Research etc. This conference aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to showcased and discussed the latest innovations, trends, concerns, practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of telecommunications, optics and computer science.

At the beginning of the conference, Prof. Ping Yao for Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University delivered the opening speech, welcoming the educators and researchers to share their research, and thanking all the experts and scholars who provided support and help to the conference.

During the keynote speeches, Prof. Qiang Liu from Sun Yat-sen University delivered a keynote speech on Development of Low-altitude Traffic and Construction of Large-scale Flight Dynamics Test Equipment.

Prof. Dongning Liu from Guangdong University of Technology, China, delivered a keynote speech on University Enrollment Strategies from the Perspective on Social Game with Collective Intelligence.

Prof. Xiangjie Kong from Zhejiang University of Technology, China, delivered a keynote speech on Spatio-Temporal Graph Learning based Vehicular Trajectory Data Analysis and Applications.

Prof. Weibin Wu from South China Agricultural University, China, delivered a keynote speech on Research Progress on Key Technologies of Intelligent Tea Picking Robot for Famous and High-Quality Tea.

Prof. Fan Jiang from Guangzhou University, China, delivered a keynote speech on Innovative Design of Optical Devices: Application and Case Study of TRIZ Theory.

Prof. Tuopu Na from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, delivered a keynote speech on Linear Motor and Driver for Precision Motion System.

Prof. Xiaodong Liu from Edinburgh Napier University, UK, delivered a keynote speech on Challenges in the Next Generation of IoT-based Smart Systems and a Case Study.

Assoc. Prof. Philip W. T. Pong from New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA, delivered a keynote speech on Contactless Magnetic Sensing in Condition Monitoring and Anomaly Detection for Smart Grid: New Possibilities and Alternatives.

Prof. Muazzam A. Khan Khattak from Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan, delivered a keynote speech on Artificial Intelligence in Food Security and Agriculture Development.

Prof. Witold Pedrycz from University of Alberta, Canada, delivered a keynote speech on Knowledge-Data Environment of Machine Learning.

Prof. Pascal Lorenz from University of Haute-Alsace, France, delivered a keynote speech on Architectures of Next Generation Wireless Networks.

Q&A Session

During the oral session, some scholars presented their latest research results and exchanged views with the participating scholars. In addition, some scholars showed their research results by posters.
